Languages
German and Dutch: My native tongue is German. But having spent most of my life in the Netherlands, I translate with equal ease in both directions.
Spanish: I also translate from these languages into Spanish and vice versa. I have spent years in Latin America and I passed the Dutch state examination as interpreter and translator of the Spanish language.
English: Furthermore, I translate from English into the above three languages, but not into English. In fact, most of my medical translations are from English.
So, my directions of translation are as follows:
From Dutch, English, German or Spanish
To Dutch, German or Spanish
I am a sworn translator by the District Court of Utrecht for the following combinations:
Dutch <-> Spanish and Dutch <-> German.
As such I am registered in the Dutch registry of sworn interpreters and translators (Rbtv) under the number 1543.
